Match Presents the 6th Annual Singles in America Study

It’s Finally Here!

We are excited to announce the results of Match’s 6th annual Singles in America study, which explores the attitudes and behaviors of over 5,000 singles across the nation. This 2015 survey gives you the inside scoop on singles today, including their political views, sexual appetites, and definition of an “ex.” With political season in full-swing, the study also reveals the state of singles’ political attitudes today – including how they court, seek sex, love and commitment and their views on today’s hot-button issues like which candidate is most kissable or how likely Trump supporters are to have sex on a first date.

“With this cogent 2015 survey of single Americans, we are uncovering more and more of the shrouded attitudes and behaviors of this massive population,” says Dr. Helen Fisher, biological anthropologist and Chief Scientific Advisor to Match. “And the coming year is special: it’s political, and today’s singles have vivid opinions about what they will not tolerate in a leader. Moreover, this year we focused on the crucial ‘second date,’ a vital courtship step that has been seriously understudied until now. This meticulous annual scientific study continues to reveal the pulse of the single’s psyche… and our basic human nature.”
