Singles in America, Match.com’s second annual comprehensive study on singles, takes an in-depth look at singles’ views and lifestyles in 2012. This group of singles represents 1/3 of the U.S. population, though they are vastly understudied. Over 5,000 singles participated in the survey, ranging in questions such as “How long do you take to get over a break up?” to “Who has more orgasms, Republicans or Democrats?” The results of the survey will be revealed Thursday, February 2, 2012, but in the meantime, check out our videos below where we ask people in the city of Austin, Texas how they think singles have answered.

Where can the actual study be found? Though this site and all of the reports of the study’s findings claim that the sample is representative, I would be quite interested to read about your sampling methods.
