A letter from Tim:
Kasee was actually going to quit Match the week we connected. She’d had her heart broken again, and thought she needed to give dating a break. Personally, my schedule was super busy, and after my divorce I was really out of practice with dating. I definitely did not know how to meet a woman at a bar. I thought Match might make it easier to connect with someone genuine.
One day Kasee’s profile showed up as a Match suggestion for me. She was gorgeous. I immediately winked at her. She winked back, and that was it—I was smitten.
Our relationship grew through the use of a simple “20 questions” game. By learning the simplest of things about each other we quickly developed a friendship that ignited into a romance. We couldn’t wait to meet in person and share even more.
We actually had about a 120 miles of distance between us. We decided not to let that be a deterrent. It actually made our courtship even stronger. We talked for longer and learned what we wanted, needed, and enjoyed. We sent letters, packages, notes, and of course, I sent her flowers.
Ultimately, we continue to define and build our relationship together every day. And in March, we said “I do” on a beautiful beach in Hawaii in front of 32 of our closest family and friends.
We continue to “date” each other and we always keep life adventurous and unexpected, just like we experienced while we were dating on Match.
Keep it real,
