Meet Amanda: America’s Hottest & Healthiest Trainer

Drum-roll please… Match is thrilled to announce that Amanda from LA is the winner of our Hottest & Healthiest Trainer in America contest!

This California hottie started her own personal training company, Raw Fitness, in 2007. After her own transformation of losing 30 pounds and changing her life, she wanted to help others do the same. She has helped dozens of clients lose pounds, transform their bodies, and get in the best shape of their lives. “I help my clients see that they are able to do things they don’t think are possible by pushing them past their mental threshold. We talk about nutrition, mental and spiritual health – because it all goes hand in hand.”

Amanda’s clients range from 27-65 years in age and their goals vary from improving their core strength and balance to getting ripped for a TV role. She uses functional training and exercises to improve overall body function, along with a clean nutrition plan to get her clients energized and revitalized. . “My view on nutrition is a more plant-based one, focusing on nutrient-dense, unprocessed, real foods – which helps with not only weight loss, but with disease prevention, including heart disease.” Amanda’s father passed away from heart complications which is one of the reasons why fitness is so important to her!

So if you’re feeling a bit sluggish and need some pep in your step for that first date in a few weeks … look no further! Amanda is dishing her best nutrition and exercise tips to get you in shape and feeling great!

3-Day Workout Routine: (30 minutes each)

Day 1: 15 minute light run, followed by 15 minutes of HIIT (high intensity interval training): 30 secondsof sprinting, followed by 30 seconds of resting.

Day 2: 50 squats, 3 sets of:10 pushups, 24 walking lunges (holding a ball or dumbbell at your chest), 3 sets of:Cable Rows, Jumping squats

Day 3: 45 minutes of light cardio (preferably running)

Nutrition Tips:

  • Start late and end early. Push your first meal as late as possible and try not to eat 4 hours before bed.
  • Start your day instead with 1 liter of warm spring water with fresh lemon. Then drink 2-3 more liters of water throughout the day.
  • Have your first meal be a green juice (little to no fruit) and follow that up with 1-2 pieces of fruit, as you get hungry.
  • Avoid all processed foods, including dairy, gluten, sugar, soy and corn.
