Featured Success Couple: Amy and Jason

After joining Match.com on the exact same day, we found each other on Wednesday, August 4th 2010, and decided to meet in person on August 6th. We were each other’s only date from the website and we cancelled our memberships in less than a week from our join date because we knew we didn’t need to “shop around” anymore.

We both knew very quickly that we were on the right path in every way. Now we look forward to beginning our journey as a married couple and learning more about ourselves and each other as we bring new life into the world.

What made you try online dating?

We have known others who have had success dating online and we both decided to give it a try for similar reasons.

    I was just thinking to myself the other day after a woman I met took her profile down after 2 and a half weeks for what I’m fairly sure was either the first or 4th guy she met(she told me I was the 3rd and it wasn’t for me :-( )I was wondering what’s the quickest “on and off” any online dating site success story and this has to be close to the record! It’s like winning the lottery upon you first purchasing your first ticket. I’d love to know if anyone knows a faster success?

      I made my profile and found Jes the very same day. We went on our first date the next night and have spent nearly every day with each other ever since. Neither of us met anyone else from the site, and I cancelled my account after only a few days of it being open.

      Several of my friends had successful Match experiences so I thought I would try it. Obviously my previous dating experiences haven’t been very successful.
      As for Jes, he was new to the area so he made a profile to meet local people.

      He and I are such a perfect match. I don’t care how cliche it sounds- it was almost like we were hand crafted for each other. Also, it turned out we have several mutual friends so it was easy to mesh our lives.

      We will be sending our story to Match.com soon. :)

    wasn’t that lucky…..first of all they never showed me anyone of the region i was asking for…………what a rip off…………………..and was one of the ones that got fraud in…….
