Last Thursday, October 21st, we launched an updated version of our popular iPhone app (v1.8.1). Along with other additions, we included banner ads on the bottom of the app interface. Our customers spoke out and it was clear the ads frustrated people. As a result on Tuesday, October 26th, we discontinued all ads in our iPhone app.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for voicing your feedback. Our commitment is to bringing you the highest quality online dating experience and we are committed to continuing the conversation with our customer. With our matchMobile usage doubling in the past six months, we know that accessing Match.com on-the-go is a priority for our customer. We will continue to build and innovate in order to constantly improve your experience to help you find someone great.
